WHAT'S GOING ON IN HERE?
hi there! i'm texas. yes, like the yeehaw state. yes, that's where i'm from. who would have guessed!
i started this site as a side project so i could learn html and engage in what many people call the revival of the old web. as much as i wasn't necessarily around for the old web itself, i do have a fondness for html coding, dating back to customising tumblr themes at a tender, non-disclosed age.
as i've gotten older, i've also come to realise that i... am not very fond of the urgency of instant messaging sites! an in-joke among some of my friends using apps like instagram and snapchat noted that i was something of a cryptid in their circles due to my lack of activity, and that's solely because i could not deal with the constant intake of information.
i grew more and more nostalgic for old forums i would frequent, and after seeing a friend of mine make a neocities site, i thought, why not, it seems like a fun way to build webmastery skill that has become less and less common in the age of web2.0 as well as express my identity in a way that sites like twitter simply do not let me—
so. here we are! hi! welcome to my site! hopefully there will be more to come!
